Hash brown bake

An easy hash brown bake with bacon and onion. Comfort food made simple.

  • 4 cups hash brown potatoes thawed (520g)
  • 12 strips bacon cooked and chopped (340g)
  • 0.5 cup milk 120ml
  • 0.5 onion diced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400ºF / 200ºC degrees.
  • In a bowl mix together the hash brown potatoes, onion, salt, pepper, garlic, bacon and milk.
  • Transfer to a greased 9 inch pie dish.

  • Drizzle over the melted butter and sprinkle over the paprika.
  • Bake in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes until the potatoes are cooked through and golden brown.

Easily made vegan if using vegan broth.
