2cans of blueberry pie filling
1teaspoonof vanilla extractoptional
1box of two-layer vanilla cake mix
¾cupsalted buttersliced (170g)
Powdered sugarfor dusting
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350ºF / 180ºC.
Pour the blueberry pie filling into a rectangular baking dish and stir in the vanilla extract if using.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the filling.
Lay the butter slices across the surface of the cake mix.
Bake for around 40 minutes, until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling at the edges.
Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
